This website offers general information about water and fire damage, and a free referral to an independent local restoration company. It is not professional advice of any kind, and the data pages are a general guide, not an inspection of any property.
Durham Restoration Desk doesn't perform restoration work. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor, who is responsible for their own work and pricing. Get any price and warranty in writing, read anything that mentions your insurance before you sign it, and for a rebuild of $40,000 or more, check the contractor's license with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors.
Prices quoted in our guides are published third-party figures, not offers. Our data comes from public government sources and may contain errors or be out of date.
If you smell gas or see sparking, leave the house and call 911 or your utility.
Who runs this site
This website is operated by Voll Group LLC ("we", "us"). By using it, calling or texting its number, or sending a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These Terms include an agreement to resolve disputes by individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions.
Referrals
We are a referral service. The local company we refer you to is an independent business and may pay us for our service. We do not employ it, supervise its work or guarantee its prices, licensing, availability or results, and a referral is not an endorsement. Check its license, insurance and references before you hire it.
Using the site
Use the site only for lawful purposes and give accurate information. Do not interfere with the site, get around its security, or copy its content or data in bulk with bots or scrapers. The site's content belongs to us or our licensors.
No warranties
THE SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE SITE AND RELY ON ITS INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limits on our liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY WORK, PRODUCT, PRICE OR CONDUCT OF A COMPANY WE REFER YOU TO. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SITE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO $100. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they apply only as far as your law permits.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
Disputes
Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, mail a written notice describing it and the relief you want to Voll Group LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. We will try to resolve it informally for 60 days.
Arbitration. If we cannot, you and we agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the site, a referral or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement. Hearings may be held by video or in the county where you live, and we will pay the fees the AAA rules assign to the business. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court.
No class actions or jury trials. Claims may be brought only individually, not in any class, collective or representative proceeding, and you and we waive any right to a jury trial. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided by a court and the arbitration agreement will not apply to it.
Opting out. You can reject this arbitration agreement by mailing Voll Group LLC at the address above within 30 days after you first agree to these Terms, with your name, phone number and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
Governing law and changes
Wyoming law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules; any dispute that is not arbitrated will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. We may update these Terms by changing the date above; updates apply from that date, but not to a dispute already noticed. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
